Welcome!
Monroe Presbyterian Church is a new church plant of the Presbyterian Church in America serving the Lord Jesus Christ in Walton County, Georgia.
In the great tradition of the Reformed Faith, the people of Monroe Presbyterian Church have come together to worship and serve the living God according to His Word.
Our goal is to be a church where the cross is central, and Jesus Christ is preached from the housetops for the conversion of sinners and the comfort of saints.
We hope to be a place where people can come with broken hearts and lives and find the ministry of a Savior who is willing and able to heal them.
We aspire to be a people of new life in Christ who are passionate about the pursuit of holiness and willing to lose our lives in this world to that end.
We intend to be a covenant family where pastors are truly shepherds, and God's people experience the sincere love and fellowship of Christian brotherhood.
We strive to be students of church history, informed about what has gone before us and ready to listen with meekness to the godly Christians of the past.
We desire to fill our Christian homes with vibrant religion and train up godly children who will be able to stand for truth in their generation.
And basic to all of these, we want to be a people who glorify and enjoy the Lord our God through a Spirit-wrought faith in and love for Jesus Christ the Son.
We set out toward these goals believing that they are true to God's own will as revealed in the Bible, and we pray that the Lord will bless us in our pursuits and use us mightily in the coming of His glorious kingdom on earth.
